When calamity strikes Koroks? ›

Korok Seed Location: As soon as you drop down into the underground section after the throne room battle, walk through the docks and break down the wooden crate near the white chest to find a Korok. Run up the stairs and enter the library. Kill of the two Guardians running amok among the books, then head upstairs.

Getting every seed is required to complete the Quests that extend your weapons inventory and your rods/apples meters. And of course the Hyrule Warrior's Tunic is locked behind all Quests, so getting all seeds is a prerequisite for that reward.

Korok Seeds are primarily obtained by finding them within missions and even a few challenges, but they're also part of several challenges' first-clear rewards. There are 122 mission Korok Seeds, 12 challenge Korok Seeds, and 41 Korok Seeds obtained as completion rewards for a total of 175 Korok Seeds.

The 900 Korok Seeds in Zelda: Breath of the Wild are found around Hyrule by performing specific actions in certain locations. If you collect enough seeds, you can trade Korok Seeds with Hestu for increased inventory space for weapons, shields, and bows.

As mentioned before, you need to collect all 900 Korok Seeds in order to earn Hestu's Gift. Though this item is relatively useless, you at least have the benefit of earning the inventory expansion that turning in the Korok Seeds to Hestu grants you. See All Korok Seed Locations.

In exchange for Korok Seeds, Hestu will add one slot to Link's Weapon, Bow, or Shield stashes. Link can fully upgrade his inventory with only 441 Korok Seeds. If all 900 Seeds are returned to Hestu, he will reward Link with a "gift of friendship."

Nothing that displays their exact locations, but as LaharlAndEevee answered there are weapons that will come with a seal that alerts you when you are near a Korok Seed. And there is a quest you'll unlock as you play that displays the number of seeds in a given mission on the Battle Info screen.

Hestu is a playable character in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

In Age of Calamity, Koroks are mainly found in the main story subchapters, although you'll also find single Koroks hidden in a handful of the unlockable Challenge stages, too. In total, there are 134 Koroks to find in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity (122 in the subchapters, and 12 more across 11 Challenges).

How many Korok Seeds are needed to max inventory in TotK? ›

In order to fully upgrade your inventory, you'll need 421 Korok seeds. In total, you can have up to 14 bow slots, 20 shield slots, and 20 weapon slots — the latter having an extra slot exclusive to the Master Sword.

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, truly ambitious collectors managed to find 900 Korok seeds hidden all across Hyrule. In Tears of the Kingdom, there are even more: 1000. And unfortunately, the reward for finding them all is just as disgusting as it was in the previous game.

The Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Hestu location is hard to pin down, as the big green Korok seed vendor moves between three locations depending at how much you've made use of his services: from the wilds West of the Castle, to Lookout Landing and finally to his home turf in the Lost Woods next to the Great Deku Tree.

Over time, the Kokiri evolved in order to fly over the Great Sea. The final form of their evolution were the Koroks, who maintain the Kokiri's childish nature. The Kokiri weren't the only species to evolve specifically to enable flight. The Zora, too, evolved into the Rito so they could fly over the Great Sea.
